House of Bruar is a unique luxury shopping experience just 10 miles up the road from our hotel in Pitlochry. It is quite an usual place selling all that falls into the category of ‘country luxury’, from tweed and cashmere to fishing tackle, fine art, toys and interior furnishings. The food hall is stunning and seems to grow larger every time we visit.

Since its inception in the ’90s the House of Bruar has grown to become incredibly popular and is now a tourist attraction in its own right. We definitely recommend a visit combined with a short walk up to the Falls of Bruar – that way you can justify the delicatessen delights and the ice-cream! You could even pick of a visit to Blair Castle on the way.
