Inverness and Rocpool Restaurant

As a day trip, a loop to Inverness can be made by heading out of Pitlochry to the north via Braemar and a quicker return trip can be made down the A9. Nairn and the outstanding Fort George are also within reach for a day trip from Pitlochry routing via Inverness.

Lunch in our favourite restaurant should not be missed when stopping in Inverness. Rocpool on the river is outstanding. We have been fans since our first visit in 2005. Fresh and fantastic flavours. A must try. The view above of Inverness Castle was taken from outside Rocpool.
