Our restaurant offers a relaxed, contemporary dining experience, where exceptional food is paired with attentive, yet unobtrusive service. Guests are welcomed in the lounge with pre-dinner drinks and canapés before being escorted to the restaurant for their starters.
Since 2016, our Head Chef, Nick Imrie, has been creating modern Scottish menus that change daily, showcasing seasonal and locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. Each evening, guests can choose from four starters, four main courses, and four desserts, with a vegetarian option always available. Special dietary requirements can also be accommodated with advance notice.
The Restaurant at Knockendarroch has been proudly awarded two AA Red Rosettes since 2014, reflecting our commitment to excellence.
Due to the intimate nature of our restaurant, the largest booking we can accommodate is for eight guests, and this is limited to hotel residents. For details on non-resident dining, please see below.
Please note: lunch is not served in the restaurant. A light snack menu is available in the lounge for residents.
Pre-theatre dining is available, and complimentary transport can be arranged for residents during the theatre summer season. Our full three-course menu will be served.
Please note: complimentary transport is exclusively available to residents who book directly with the hotel on a dinner, bed, and breakfast basis when attending summer productions. For transport arrangements for winter performances, kindly contact our reservations team.
Drinks and canapés will be served in the lounge at 5:00 PM, followed by dinner at 5:30 PM. Transport will depart at 6:45 PM, with a return journey provided after the performance.
Non-residents are warmly invited to dine in the Restaurant at Knockendarroch. Our menu is priced at £65 per person and includes three courses, canapés, and tea or coffee.
Advance booking is essential, and we kindly request that any dietary requirements or allergies be advised at the time of reservation. Due to the intimate nature of the restaurant, table availability may be limited at times.

To ensure an enjoyable dining experience for all our guests, we are unable to accommodate children under the age of 10. While a separate children’s menu is not available, younger guests are welcome to enjoy the same carefully prepared menu as adults.
Breakfast is an important part of the Knockendarroch experience, and we take pride in offering a selection of traditional Scottish dishes. Options include porridge served with brown sugar, cream, and a touch of whisky, homemade granola, classic eggs Benedict, or a full Scottish breakfast featuring haggis and a homemade potato scone.
