Electric Vehicle Charging at our Pitlochry hotel
Currently £15 per charge

We have two dedicated spaces for electric vehicle charging for guests staying at the hotel. 

There are two Tesla Wall Chargers at the back of the hotel. One of these will charge Tesla vehicles only (up to 11kw) and the other is a Universal Type 2 charger, suitable for Teslas and most other electric vehicle makes (connection success and charging speed varies depending on vehicle type).

Use of our chargers is subject to a daily fee and the following conditions. 

 

Conditions of use for our Tesla and Universal Type 2 EV chargers

1.  Only available to guests staying overnight.

2.  A flat rate £15 per charge will apply. This price may be changed at any time.

3.  EV charging MUST be booked in advance with the hotel and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

4.  Available on a 'fair use' basis only. With increasing demand for the chargers, we ask that you move your car to another space when you are sufficiently charged, allowing other guests to charge after you. If you do end up 'idling', we may ask you to move your car to make way for others.

Other options for faster charging

If you are in need of a faster charge, or our bays are busy, we would recommend trying the Rie-Achan Road carpark in town. Here there are six ChargePlace Scotland fast chargers in operation with a further six installed awaiting commissioning.
