Larch House – A Contemporary Garden Retreat

Our most exciting development yet, Larch House is a beautifully designed, contemporary retreat located just 30 metres to the south-east of the main hotel. Originally built as a private home in 2017, this striking timber building showcases all the environmental and design credentials you would expect from a modern, sustainable property. Following a thoughtful transformation, Larch House now offers three elegant Garden Rooms and one exceptionally spacious suite.

The Garden Rooms are bright, airy and calming, decorated in a soft, neutral palette with natural materials throughout – laminated birchply, leather and wool – creating a warm, understated sense of luxury. Underfloor heating and excellent insulation ensure a consistently comfortable temperature, whatever the season.

Each room opens via patio doors onto a small private garden, enclosed by larch cladding and vibrant laurel hedging – perfect for relaxing outdoors and (weather permitting!) enjoying the best of Perthshire. All rooms feature king-size beds, en-suite bathrooms with a shower over the bath, Nespresso machines, and thoughtful touches including robes and slippers.

Please note: The entrance to the Garden Rooms is approximately 60 metres from the main hotel entrance and involves two flights of steps (20 and 16 steps). Luggage may be dropped off in the lower car park, just 16 steps above the entrance to Larch House.
