Our most exciting development yet, Larch House is a striking contemporary retreat located just 30 metres to the south-east of the main hotel building. Originally built as a private home in 2017, this beautifully crafted timber property embodies the environmental and design credentials you would expect from a modern, sustainable build. Following a thoughtful transformation, Larch House now offers three elegant Garden Rooms and one exceptional suite.
The Larch House Suite occupies the entire upper floor of the house, offering an impressive sense of space and privacy. At approximately 80m², this is a truly generous suite – perfect for longer stays or for guests who simply enjoy having room to spread out and unwind.
The suite features a luxurious super king-size bed (6ft wide) and a variety of comfortable seating areas from which to enjoy the expansive views through the dramatic, floor-to-ceiling windows. The standout bathroom includes a stunning free-standing bath set beneath large roof windows, framing beautiful vertical views of the mature Scots Pine in the grounds – a wonderfully relaxing spot to soak and switch off. A separate walk-in shower, Nespresso machine, robes and slippers complete the experience.

PLEASE NOTE - The entrance to the Larch House Suite is 60m from the front door of the main hotel. There is one flight of 20 steps on the way. Luggage can be dropped off in the lower car park just a few steps from the entrance to the Larch House Suite.
We do not have any family rooms at Knockendarroch and only accept bookings from families with children aged 10 years and over. Please note that we can only accommodate a maximum of two people per room.
Due to the compact nature of our restaurant and kitchen the maximum number of guests we can accommodate in a group, is eight.
Why not add one of our little extras at the time of booking. Choose from flowers, prosecco, or Moet champagne.
Your little extras will be ready for you in your room when you check-in.

Of a similar size to our Classic rooms, these rooms are situated on the top floor with the best panoramic views.
